I was befriended by Patricia, an Uber Driver from Poland, who had been living in Byron for three years. I had been fretting about travel arrangements to Sydney one morning and decided to get a ride back to my hotel to do some internet research on how to do this. The universe sent me her when she responded to my Uber request- I could actually feel her happy energy as the car drove up!!! After some friendly conversation, she offered me her card and said ” I drive people to the airport if you need transportation” – what!!!??? come on! about 3 hours after I put this worry out to the universe, she shows up? She became my regular driver and introduced me to off the beaten track sites like crystal castle while I stayed in Byron. I’m beginning to believe in what locals refer to as the magic of the bay.
