One of the chief’s two wives and two of his eleven children. To the right is the place where he stays with his other wife ( he rotates homes every other night) All homes are constructed by the women. I was invited into this one which was basically two bedrooms and a kitchen which also functions as a main room for gathering and where we visited. The chief is elected by the tribe to be mediator of all disputes as administrator of the village. I really liked this guy a lot. Seemed very wise, fair minded, and kind.
