While the lion didn’t seem to be too happy about our intruding his personal space it was a great reminder of how skilled and in tune with their surroundings these trackers are. Kenneth knew this land like the back of his hand and its inhabitant’s behaviors as well. When he found an animal and I gushed with happiness, he routinely responded – “now you have made me very happy” – with such genuine affection that this became one of my top feel good, bonding experiences of all time.
