while the simple answer to any request is always a quick “of course”, clearly not everyone is happy with us “intruders”. When I chatted it up with friendly locals they’d began to tell me what they think of Americans, and curiously observations seem to fall in three buckets: 1. they are fat 2. they spoil their children to the degree that they feel entitled to everything 3. they come to beautiful places to take selfies.
