At around 6ish the plazas come to life and don’t seem to segregate by generation. Families play games together, teens sit on benches having an ice cream and 30 something friends or elderly men and women chat it up with a coffee in a cafe. The shops all re-open after the afternoon siesta and women dress up to window shop. The men must be assigned kid watch for this as there are several “solo dads” sitting in cafes with a child on their lap. One guy was absent mindedly sucking a pacifier while his baby gummed his cigarette package. Special bonding time!
