I don’t know why I have so few pictures of these beach towns as like Africa, Algarve has turned out to be a highlight of my travels so far. The beaches were stunning, the towns picturesque and the restaurants – unbelievable. This is a picture of Praia Porto Mos Beach – where on my left side I was entertained by the conversation of what I later learned was two old college buddies from England and on my left a German couple. They had WIFI at this beach so you could text the bar to bring you drinks when you wanted them. As a coincidence, the German guy and I both ordered a cold beer at the same time without knowing it – when the waiter brought them over, he caught my eye and said “cheers”….how do all these folks know I’m American!!?? In any event – it was one of those wonderful moments when all is right in the world.
