There have been occasions when I want to rip into people I consider inconsiderate in my little dictatorial world…these 4 categories ( and yes – they are categories because the same “type” appears in every country ) never failed to develop a tropical storm within me.
- the blob who chooses focal point of a tourist attraction to smoke a cigarette, rest, or review something making it impossible for anyone to take a picture without said person in it.
- a small group of people who think the perfect spot to discuss their future plans is in the middle of a tourist office doorway blocking the entrance and exit for everyone else
- the self absorbed person who exceeds the grace period for looking at something up close knowing full well there is a line behind them wanting to view it too
- the asshole who walks in front of you as you are about to take a picture or is inspired by what your aiming at so rushes to the spot you’re photographing to take a selfie with his ugly girlfriend
