This town is at the top of a very steep mountain with a narrow road road for access that, without a car, must be walked. I met a lot of fellow chubs from around the globe on the climb up who were were pausing and panting as much as I was which made an excuse for frequent rest stops. Once arrived the restaurants in the town square offer a great respite with some incredible dining options. ( best clam linguine in my life pictured). Additionally I ordered a half liter of wine and the waiter insisted I have a full one – his compliments. The delights of making it to the mountain top!
