The focal point of Liubljanica’s central square is a pink Franciscan Church. In the foreground is Triple Bridge which provides passage to the medieval side of the city. Originally built to accommodate vehicles, it’s now only available to pedestrians. The square is a parade of entertainment – the morning I was there, among many troupes, a Hare Krishna group danced and sang oblivious to the sounds of a fiddle band about 20 feet away. Our tour guide said these very different groups all shared the same space and got along because – after all – what’s central to sLOVEina?!
