While cats seem common everywhere in many countries, there’ not really a lot of stray dogs, just those on a leash of their owner. However in Istanbul pooches hang out everywhere sleeping contently in public places no matter the hustle and bustle of the tourists walking by. Almost all of them have this green plastic thing punched in their ear signifying they’ve been neutered and had all their shots.
