This has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam, later named Thailand since 1782. It’s a large scale jewel box with golden temples, jewel encrusted shrines and glittering demons to keep evil spirits away. The sheer size of it ( over 54 acres ) is in itself mind boggling but even more incredible is that every inch is covered with incredible detailed craftmanship.
