This guy sits in front of the first warning about not living a virtuous life at the white temple. There are only four things forbidden by Buddhists according to my guide – killing, stealing, lying or drinking – the latter is the worst because it will make you want to do the former three! There’s a whiskey bottle on top of a skull head in the background along side a cigarette package engulfed in flames – a message with no subtlety or need for interpretation!
