so our agile guide dares our small group to follow him and cross into the village via this narrow bamboo bridge. He had a few takers, I was not among them. One guy ( the bus driver I mentioned earlier) fell right before reaching the bank – smashed his knee up pretty bad and then asked me to take a picture of it. He told me that this battle scar was going to get a lot of mileage back home when he re-told the story of how he narrowly escaped the river with a crocodile on his heals. Think he’s read a few too many adventure guides….
