The woman on my left facing the camera is Liz Lyons, a 5th generation Auckland resident and founder of Aucky Walky tours – a very personal insider’s perspective of Auckland’s highlights. The gal taking the selfie was the other participant on the tour – a 35 year old from Humboldt, California! We had a grand time experiencing lanes like Snickel, Fort or Vulcan, neighborhoods and historic sites that define the city’s culture as well as tasting Auckland favorites like hokey pokey ice cream, Whittakers chocolate, feijoa fruit, and mauka honey. She also provided a list of great recommendations for what to do while there. One of the best tours I had the entire time on the road.
