New Zealand was the first country to legalize a woman’s right to vote. A beautiful space near Albert Park and the Art Gallery celebrates this with murals, a fountain, and statue with signage listing all the names of women who organized to achieve this accomplishment. Our guide, a 5th generation Aucky, grandmother was one of those women!
