smack dab in the middle of Cuba street, this colorful hotel’s several lobbies are themed with colors like avocado green, turmeric, lilac, and raspberry – all in celebration of its original colorful owner, Lady Naumi, daughter of a wealthy landowner. She fell in love with a sailor who brought her books, art, and plants from his voyages around the world. With a promise to make his last trip a final sail, she used her inheritance to buy this hotel and furnished it with the collection of these treasures. Sadly, he never came home however their “love letters” remain and you can read them if staying there.
