A walk along the River Avon and viewing the Putteney Bridge is just one of the things to do in Bath – there’s the Roman baths, which are natural hot springs used as a thermal spa centuries ago, the Abbey and courtyard where musicians play under decorative flags, the Royal Crescent, and winding streets that take you past shops and pubs like Sally Lunn’s -the oldest tavern in Bath. Sally established the place after escaping religious persecution in France bringing with her a skill for brioche style bread- the buns are still made from the original recipe and are delicious!
