I admit it was intrusive of me to take pictures of people during this sacred act but it had a certain beauty I wanted to capture. Women leaning forward and touching their foreheads to the stones with eyes closed whispering wishes while kissing the wall seemed a little mystical and musical. Additionally prayer notes are placed in the wall so that they may ascend into heaven. Later they will be removed and buried in the Mount of Olives. Lovely.
