While the Vietnamese were occupied by the French, barbaric cells imprisoned both men and women thought to be political protesters and revolutionists. The will of these people is powerfully demonstrated by seeing the extremely narrow tunnels they used to escape the prison and keep on fighting for freedom. Another exhibit details the repeated tortures of the Vietnam War.
