His tomb is much grander than his son’s, Akbar – at least to me. Which is kind of surprising as Akbar more than makes up for his father’s failings becoming the greatest ruler in the Mughal dynasty. He’s responsible for Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri making him no slouch on the architectural front and he also seems to have been an all inclusive progressive – tolerance for all religions, equality for women, lover of the arts and music…yeah – I’d like to have met this dude.
