Lukka, Daniel’s partner, and an extraordinary kind soul, made sure I got vaccinations for Africa while in England – not only did he make the appointment, he took me to clinic and held my hand while I got injected with all the necessary protections.( and afterwards celebrated the end of my stress inducer with fabulous Dim Sum lunch.) He was always ready to pick me up at the train station and transport me wherever needed. One particular memorable drive was that to Daniel’s garden – along the way we stopped at an old tavern in Pett and whooped it up British style.
