A woman who moved from the US to England about 5 years ago for a job told me the thing she missed most ( besides good Mexican food ) was the ability to do one stop shopping like you can in supermarket chains. I couldn’t disagree more. I LOVE the individual butcher shops, the corner cheese shop, bakery, or the fresh produce stalls in a market such as this one. Shopping becomes an inspirational event in and of itself…and a reminder of earth’s bounty!
