this little stand sits precariously on rocks at the height of the trail that takes you from the monastery back into the main part of Petra – about 6 miles. It’s mostly downhill but still not a walk in the park. I took a break here to fortify for the trip down and overheard the proprietor tell another customer ” you lost something” – when she looked down to see what it might be, he laughed and said – “it was your smile.” Not missing a beat her husband said – “thank you – I’ve been looking for that since we married!” A little comic relief on the trail….
