The Great Hypostyle Hall consists of 16 rows of 134 columns that are 32 feet high and held together by beams that weigh 70 tons. This is not a picture of it but near the entrance because I could not capture its magnificent nature on camera. The hieroglyphics on the columns are still mostly in their original color and it’s well worth having a guide help you read them to understand the meaning of the stories they convey. Totally incredible.
